VASE 3D Open the studio

For teachers

A whole class can shape a pot.

VASE 3D runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install and nothing to license per seat. Students shape a vessel by feel, glaze it, and walk away with a clean file the class printer can make.

Why it fits a classroom

Nothing to install

It opens in any modern browser on the machines you already have. No admin rights, no downloads, no per-seat setup before the lesson starts.

Shape by feel

Students pull, twist and pattern the form like clay on a wheel. The vessel is the interface, so they explore by touch instead of fighting a panel of sliders.

Plain language

The controls speak opening, funnel, twist and rib. No CAD vocabulary to teach first, so a beginner can make something real in the first session.

Always watertight

Every shape stays watertight by construction, so a student cannot accidentally make a file the printer will reject. What they see on screen is what comes out.

Class-printer ready

Export a clean STL, OBJ or GLB straight to your slicer. Print on an FDM machine in vase mode or solid, the way your studio already prints.

Glaze the result

Pour a living glaze that flows and pools, then fire it for the finished look. A pattern library gives every student a different direction to chase.

A lesson in three steps

  1. Shape. Each student throws a silhouette and pulls it into a form. A few minutes in, they have a vessel that is theirs.
  2. Pattern and glaze. They layer flutes, ribs and relief from the library, then pour a glaze and fire it to see the finished surface.
  3. Export and print. One click gives a watertight STL for the class printer. The same design talks design intent, geometry and craft in one object.

Bringing it to your classroom

The Free tier covers most teaching: the full studio, 19 patterns, and watertight export on every school machine. If you want to set up a class or talk about a classroom plan, get in touch and we will sort out the right fit together. VASE 3D is an independent product, made in Israel by a solo maker, so you will be talking to the person who builds it.
